There are two pathways to enroll and attend Woodlake Elementary Community Charter.
  1. Resident School - for students who live within the boundary of our school
  2. Charter Permit - for students who enroll via the Choices application

How can I apply?
  • If Woodlake ECC is your home school, applications are available in the main office starting in June. If it is not your home school, you may apply via the LAUSD Apply lottery system and be placed on the wait list.

What is the age requirement to start school?
  • Your child must be 4 years old by September 1 to enroll.
 
What after-school programs are available?

Is school lunch free?
  • Yes, lunch is provided at no cost to all students. Note: Per LAUSD policy, outside food deliveries or drop-offs during school hours are not allowed.

Enrollment for Resident Students
 
Students residing within Woodlake Elementary Community Charter’s boundaries do not need to apply through the Choices lottery. To verify your home school, use the Resident School website at http://rsi.lausd.net/ResidentSchoolIdentifier. Enrollment requires completing LAUSD's Unified Enrollment forms and providing proof of student age (legal birth certificate) and proof of address (utility bill, lease agreement, property tax receipt, government mail, pay stub, or voter registration). Enrollment is complete once all immunization records and paperwork are submitted and verified.
 
Address Verification: LAUSD requires students to reside at the provided address. Owning or leasing property within Woodlake's boundaries without residing there does not qualify for enrollment. Providing false documents will result in immediate transfer and disqualification from re-enrollment for up to two semesters. If you have recently moved into the Woodlake ECC attendance area and wish to enroll mid-year, please contact the school office at (818) 347-7097.
Enrollment Forms Packets
 
Enrollment form packets can be found below for UTK, Kinder, and 1st grade through 5th grade. Please fill out your grade level packet and drop it off at the main office between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. If you cannot print the packet at home, you may obtain one from the main office Monday–Friday, between 8:00 am and 4:15 pm.
