About School Site Council
The School Site Council (SSC) at Woodlake Elementary Community Charter is a collaborative body composed of parents, teachers, staff, and administrators. The council plays a vital role in shaping the direction of the school by participating in decision-making processes related to programs, budget, and overall school improvement.
One of the primary responsibilities of the SSC is to develop, review, and update the school's Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA). This plan outlines the strategies and actions that will be taken to support student learning, and the SSC ensures that resources are allocated in a way that aligns with the school’s goals.
The SSC meets regularly throughout the school year and serves as an open forum for discussing important initiatives and priorities. These meetings provide an opportunity for all members of the school community to engage in discussions about ways to enhance student success and address any challenges. We encourage all parents and community members to attend meetings and be an active part of shaping the future of our school.
